In everyday life, you're being subliminally directed in all kinds of ways. I'm trying to do it to you now with this site, but at least I have the decency to let you know what I'm up to. Paradoxically, the more commercial writing bombards us, the less value is being placed on it. Yet the simple truth is that in this age of ads, in amongst the modern world's multiplicity of messages, clear and effective writing can cut through the static and make or break a project. Now more than ever, content is king, time is short.

About me
I've been serious about writing all my life, ever since I was a primary school kid jotting stories in my notepad. This compulsive scribbling has so far earned me a Degree in Creative Writing and a Masters in Film Studies, and has led to me working in all kinds of roles in the publishing industry for over a decade.
Whether I'm working for magazines or the web, writing stories, essays, features, marketing or advertising copy, the process and the skills required are essentially the same.
